I know I won't get anything up before Christmas besides this one so let me wish everyone an extremely Merry (and cold!) Christmas! It's in the 90's here today (again) and extremely dusty. The dry-season-dust-allergy I acquired in Africa is in full swing. I'll be spending Christmas at my new home with the Fathers, Kelly, Margo (another volunteer), and several other guests of the parish. I'll put up a more detailed post after the festivities. It sounds like it will quite a bloody event - the morning of Christmas eve is spent slaughtering goats, cows and chickens and is, as the Fathers say, "a very dark day for animals in Uganda".
I'll be sure to twitter some messages until I can get something substantial (and overdue) up here.
